Wondering About Faith

How would you define faith?  Mark Twain said “Faith is believin’ what you know ain’t so” Maybe you’ve wondered if faith is a force or power, or maybe a formula or more like a vending machine - where enough prayer, attendance at church or money given - unlocks answers.  Maybe your biggest concern in considering Jesus is about believing in belief and your assumption is that to consider following Jesus requires mind-numbing, experience-denying faith.

The good news is that Jesus never asked His followers to “just believe” - to pretend real life experiences don’t happen.  The author of Hebrews writes to people wondering about faith - to help make faith clear and to demistify it from what it's not.
