How would you answer this question ...
I Wonder...?
What do you wonder about?
To wonder is really a beautiful thing - a wonderful thing! It’s maybe one of the greatest gifts God endowed humanity with. We have the great capacity and opportunity to wonder. Sometimes that wonder leads to discovery, affirmation and joy and sometimes it leads to fear and sometimes it leads to more wonder!
We all have a frame of reference to help make sense of life. Often our framework is connected to morality - a sense of right and wrong or maybe our frame of reference is science, or faith traditions.
When life happens - challenging circumstances can often cause us to wonder as our frame of reference is challenged. We wonder because these frames of reference don’t provide us with all of the answers to the questions we’re asking.
Sometimes we wander trying to come up with a resolution to our wonderings.
So - do you wonder about or do you wander about?
In our "I Wonder" series we'll consider what we fasten or “fix our eyes on” as our frame of reference in life and how God gave Jesus to stand on this side of the frame to be our point of reference for our wonderings about life, God, His existence and His character.
