DESCRIPTION:Ever been in a situation or season of life so challenging that 
 you feel there’s no way forward and no way out? We have problems for whi
 ch there seem to be no solutions. We have questions without answers.\n\nIt
  feels like we’re in a desert - and each direction offers the same relen
 tlessly void\, discouraging and hopeless horizon. During challenging times
 \, it’s easy to assume that we’ll never be happy again\, that no good 
 can come from our circumstances\, or there’s no use continuing.\n\nWhate
 ver faith we have is most definitely challenged … tested … and the tem
 ptation is to run or give up or give in to jealousy\, resentment\, and ang
 er . . . especially anger toward God.  When life gets hard\, emotionally 
 - it often feels like God is absent\, apathetic\, or angry. \n\nWhat if we
  could rest in the reality that He isn’t any of those?\n\nSo what do we 
 do while we’re still journeying the desert - what do we do in the meanti
 me?\nWe hold on to hope\, joy and purpose by holding on to the truth that 
 God is with us\; still has all things in his hands and is working goodness
  out.\nThis series will focus on the assurance of God’s presence\, power
  and peace in the midst of the valley of the shadow of death and will be s
 haped by the questions:\n\nWhat can you do when it feels like you can’t 
 do anything? and Is it possible to patiently hang on to hope\, and joy and
  faith in the meantime?\nSunday mornings at 10:30 beginning October 12th
